# Docs

> Print the CLI's own documentation.

The CLI carries its own reference documentation, so the full command surface is always available offline and always matches the version you have installed. These commands read nothing from the API, so no authentication or organization is required.

## Subcommands

* [reference](#reference) — Print the full command reference as Markdown

## reference

Print the full command reference as Markdown: every command with its signature, the flags shared across the CLI, the response shapes to expect, and jq recipes for extracting fields.

Because everything arrives in a single call, this is the quickest way to keep an offline copy of the reference, or to hand the whole command surface to a coding agent instead of having it walk `--help` one command at a time.

```bash theme={null}
nscale docs reference
```

### Examples

```bash theme={null}
# Save the reference to a file
nscale docs reference > nscale-reference.md
# Page through it in the terminal
nscale docs reference | less
```
